Design & Quote

Get in touch with us to arrange a site visit. We will evaluate your irrigation requirements, measure your lawn and gardens, check water pressure and flow, and identify any other unique information we should know about. If your project is still in the planning phases, we can set up an in-person meeting to review your project objectives and use your site drawings and landscape design to develop an irrigation design and estimate.

Install and Commision

After the design and quote are approved, an installation schedule will be arranged, considering the various trades that may be present on-site simultaneously. Collaborating with other trades and landscapers to ensure the overall project is completed on schedule is a top priority. Once the installation is finished, our technicians will meet with the new owners or tenants to provide a comprehensive orientation on the components, functions of the irrigation system, and the necessary maintenance.

Annual Maintenance

We always say: "Owning an irrigation system is like owning a car, if you take good care of it, it doesn't cause you any grief, but neglect it and it will come back to haunt you." That's why annual maintenance is so important for keeping your irrigation system in tip-top shape and ensuring it lasts for years to come. Scroll down to discover our three essential maintenance features that will help your irrigation system keep performing year after year!

Spring Irrigation Startup

To prepare your system for the growing season, schedule a Spring Startup 7-point Inspection!

Here’s what that includes:

  1. Turning on the water supply.

  2. Checking the backflow preventor for any leaks or damage.

  3. Looking over your entire irrigation system for leaks and damages.

  4. Running individual zone tests to ensure everything’s working perfectly.

  5. Making sure there’s proper head-to-head coverage and adjusting the heads if needed.

  6. Inspecting valves and valve boxes

  7. Checking the controller programming and rain sensor.

Minor repairs or adjustments are usually dealt with during the spring startup. However, we will keep you informed about any significant repairs that might be required! Before we proceed with any major fixes, we’ll be sure to give you a heads-up. You’ll receive an estimate, and we can set up another visit to take care of any needed repairs.

Mid-Season Checkup

Take a moment to schedule your mid-season checkup and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your system is running smoothly all season long!

The Mid-Season Checkup includes:

  1. Conducting individual zone tests to ensure everything's operating perfectly. Looking out for leaks and damages throughout the whole system.

  2. Checking for proper head-to-head coverage and adjusting irrigation heads as needed to keep things just right.

  3. Address any under-watered or over-watered areas, making necessary adjustments to provide balanced watering and eliminate dry spots and wet spots.

  4. Reprogramming your controller for the current seasonal conditions, ensuring we are watering effectively and efficiently.

We usually handle any minor repairs or adjustments during this visit, and if any major repairs are needed, we’ll communicate clearly, provide a quote, and schedule it accordingly.

Fall Blowout

Properly closing your irrigation system before the freezing winter temps is essential to maintaining the life of the irrigation system.

Every fall, we:

  1. Turn off your water supply.

  2. Winterize any pumps and pressure tanks.

  3. Blow out the water from the irrigation lines using a high-volume air compressor.

  4. Drain your backflow preventer.

  5. Take note of any repairs or improvements needed for the following spring startup.

Having YardLine Irrigation handle your fall irrigation blowout ensures your system is appropriately winterized, giving you peace of mind.
